This week the Mustardbet site closed down and no longer offers bets to its customers. The site had been relaunched for bettors in 2017 in the UK. It promised “tight margins, no account closure and re-betting, like at Pinnacle”.

The site left a statement for gamblers to inform them of their dismissal: "With deep regret, we must announce that MustardBet has stopped placing bets," the company said.

The site will remain active to allow customers to access their accounts and be able to see their balance and transactions. The company will reimburse all of its customers by returning the amount of the bank and it has also certified that bets placed and not settled will be settled as winners.

Customers will have 28 days to perform these operations, as the site will be active only for this period, as reported by the operator.

With increasing competition and tax increases in the UK, the tendency is for smaller operators to eventually close, leaving the way increasingly open for large operators like Bet365 and Betfair.
