This past Monday, the Prime Minister of the UK Government, Boris Johnson, finally gave the green light for the resumption of the Premier League to take place from June 1st.

According to the meeting held on Monday morning, the Premier League summoned 20 representatives from the respective clubs that are part of the league to discuss the return of the championship. The probability discussed was the resumption between the 8th and 12th of June.

As we know, the English government has also forced the games to be held without audiences, following the preventive measures correctly. The League intends to use eight to ten neutral football stages to carry out its final matches. Here we will also have a ban on celebrating goals and exchanging t-shirts between teams.

It is expected that the matches will adopt the new five-substitution measure authorized by the International Board.
