Life

Little is known about Ryan Riess' early life, but there is information that the young man attended the Catholic technical school at Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes High School. Riess graduated from Michigan State University and holds a Hospitality Business certificate.

Poker journey

Riess' contact with professional poker was in 2012. In the year in question, the American attended the World Series of Poker Circuit, and participated in the main event, in Indiana, Hammond. At the time, Riess ended up occupying the second position of the event and won the amount of US$ 239,063.
 
A few months after finishing runner-up at the World Series of Poker Circuit, Riess participated in a few other smaller tournaments in the US, but the following year things would start to change for the young man.
